Hi Nicolas, as of 2006, the Saber currency seemed to be a proposal according to this paper by B. Lietaer (http://www.uea.ac.uk/env/ijccr/abstracts/vol10(…). Do you know whether it was actually started or not?

They have some cool complementary currency in Brasil. The "saber" and sectorial currency for education is a great example too: http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Saber
